WE NEED YOUR HELP! We’re close to reaching our goal of 35 investors, but we need a few more community supporters! Can your organization support us with $1,000?
Who:
The newly formed Crawford CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) Program’s team is asking for your support as we work to launch this brand new business education opportunity for high school juniors and seniors in Crawford County. You have likely heard from someone on our team within the last year.
The program's leadership team currently includes Audrey Flood (North Central Electric Cooperative), Nate Harvey (Crawford Success Center), David Zak (Crawford Partnership), Miranda Jones (Galion-Crestline Area Chamber of Commerce), Rebecca Chapman (Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce), Larry Schmidt (Crawford County Commissioners), Todd Boyer (Ohio Mutual Insurance Group), Kevin Fourman (Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center), Todd Martin, (Colonel Crawford High School), Shelli Ashley (Wynford Royals), and Mike Martin (Buckeye Central Local Schools).
What:
A team of local leaders and our community’s high schools (Colonel Crawford, Buckeye Central, Galion City Schools, Bucyrus City Schools, Crestline and Wynford) are partnering together to establish a Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities (CEO) program for students across the county. Students will learn the pillars of entrepreneurship skills through interaction with local businesses, including visits, speakers and mentors. This proven, locally-focused model helps to develop future business owners, community leaders and skilled workforce labor while showing students how they can be successful right here in our community (without having to leave). Program statistics show that students are much more likely to stay or return to their communities after participating in CEO.

Why:
Neither schools nor students pay to participate. Community stakeholders are the heart of CEO. Your investment provides the needed resources for the facilitator and other class expenses and ensures the sustainability of the CEO program for future participants.
Investors will receive recognition through the program’s website, social media and press releases, newsletter updates from the students and numerous opportunities to engage with the class. We will also be recognizing investors at the annual Kickoff, Pitch Competition and Trade Show events hosted by the program.
When:
We hope to hear from you as soon as possible, as we must meet our goal of 35 investors by 10/10/23 in order to take the program to the next step of the launch process.
How:
If you would like to discuss the program before deciding to be an investor, we would welcome the opportunity to meet with you in person, via Zoom or over the phone. To become an investor or for questions, please reach out to our board chair, Audrey Flood at 440-387-6562 or info@crawfordcountyohceo.com.
